The 1st Parliament was the first session of Parliament, Alexandria's legislature. This Parliament, unlike those that came after, was not made up of elected Members of Parliament (MPs), but rather appointed by StateCraft staff.
History
The Parliament was appointed on 21 January 2025 in the first week of StateCraft, as a concept, being public. The server itself would not come out for over two months. Thus, the first session of Parliament was made up of select community members appointed by staff, to facilitate the full transfer of power to the people.
This Parliament had a rocky start, with Prime Minister AlexanderLove resigning on 26 February and being replaced by his deputy, Casualgreyknight.
The first session of Parliament ended on 23 May 2025 upon the election of the 2nd Parliament (the first elected session of Parliament).
