StateCraft (SC) is a realistic, city-based Minecraft roleplay server, part of the Minecraft Cities Network. It is home to the Kingdom of Alexandria. On StateCraft, players can engage in real-life scenarios such as creating a business, getting a job, investing in real estate, or even trading in our very own stock market. Also, you can spend your hard-earned money on exciting vehicles like cars, helicopters, jets, bikes, and much more.

🚀 Getting Started

To begin your journey, you can ask a Tour Guide to help you understand the basics and show you around Alexandria. If no Tour Guide online, don’t worry! You can ask the friendly players on the server for assistance or take the time to explore the city yourself while waiting for a guide to come online. There's always something to be explored in Alexandria!

Joining the Server

You can join StateCraft on both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition using the following IPs:

• Java Edition: play.mcstatecraft.com
• Bedrock Edition: play.mcstatecraft.com:19132

Jobs & Exams

One of the first things you should do is get your first job! You can do this by going to our University by entering /university in game.

We have three main categories of jobs:

1. Trade - these are considered manual labour jobs with not many special perks.
   • They are good for beginners who want an easier starting off point. Many allow you to gather resources easier to sell or to craft into other items.
2. Professions - these jobs build on trade jobs by having more advanced or special perks.
   • This could be specialised crafting recipes or plugin features.
3. Government - you cannot get a government job immediately, but after around 24 hours of in-game playtime a lot of players apply for these jobs on our forums.
   • Government jobs will provide wages, and many also have additional commission based pay.

At any given time, you can have two trade jobs, one profession, and unlimited government jobs!

💷 Making Money

When you join StateCraft for the first time, you start with a solid £1200 to get you started. While it’s a great amount to start with, it won’t last forever in Alexandria. To keep earning money, you’ll need a skill or a job. Here’s how you can get started:

• University: Go to the university by using the command /university and get a qualification to become a true expert.
• Get a Job: Join our discord server and head to #employment and find yourself a suitable job offered by players.
• Make Money: Work on that job for a time and earn money!
• Government Jobs: After gaining experience, if you have the urge to serve the Government of Alexandria, you can apply for a position in one of the Executive Ministries.

If you like to be independent and prefer not to rely on companies or traditional jobs, you can setup your own Chest Shop where you can sell demanding items like food, armour, potions, firearms, vehicles, and more.
